Bonjour!

My name is Sophie, I'm a 20-something, English Lit graduate, almost at the end of my year of training to become a primary school teacher! I currently split my time between Cambridge, Norwich and the Suffolk countryside. I love wandering the streets of Cambridge and Norwich and can usually be found tucked away in the corner of a bookshop or sat sipping on iced coffee or hot chocolate (dependant on the season) in a café. If I'm not enjoying time in the city I indulge my country girl side and enjoy rambling around Norfolk and Suffolk.

After several years of studying literature I found I really missed having the opportunity to write and so A Rose Tinted Life was born. This blog gives me the space to share my adventures with friends and family (and anyone who's interested) and to write about my daily inspirations, learning to teach, foodie places, lots of books, beauty, style, baking and my travels and trips all over the place. As a child I could be incredibly pessimistic and as I grew up I became determined to be more optimistic in my outlook. I try to always see life through rose tinted glasses and enjoy the simple things we often don't appreciate enough. My blog will hopefully be a haven of rosy thoughts and I really hope you enjoy it!
